Thanks to Mike L for suggesting that we add Bread and Company to our Winter Hill beer map. I'm not sure when this happened exactly, but the last update on their facebook page has this as 'coming soon' on 9/21. Maybe someone can confirm this?
My husband and I went there for brunch two weekends ago, and we were shocked to find that their gorgeous pastry case had been totally replaced by a full-service bar! The bar itself is beautiful, with a blue mosaic tile backsplash and sleek counters, but we're still mourning the loss of all that fresh bread and dessert. I'm not sure if the booze factor is catching on in the neighborhood -- has anyone been up there for a drink?
