QUALITY OF LIFE: Litter in East Somerville

Repost from the Somerville Resistat Blog:

QUALITY OF LIFE: Litter in East Somerville

Question/Comment: What can be done to reduce the amount of trash and litter that is on the streets in East Somerville?

City Update 5/12/2008: Inspectional Services will step up enforcement of business and residential trash violations in the area. Also, the Department of Public Works will monitor trash and increase street sweeping in areas with trash. Residents should call 311 for specific streets that need sweeping or where there is debris on sidewalks or streets.
